We are committed to alignment between our mission to support community-led energy and our operations as a business. As a climate focused social enterprise, we need to be more ambitious than Scottish and UK climate targets, and lead the way as a net zero business.

describe the calculation methodology and comment on accuracy:

*

The data for this carbon audit was collected through desk-based research, comprising an employee survey, examination of project folders and documents within the Scene shared Google Drive, and through additional correspondence with Scene Directors and Project Managers for their input. Where accurate data on company and employee activity was not available, reasonable estimations were made and stated transparently at every stage within the Environmental Reporting Tool. These estimations include: desk-based energy use in company offices, life-cycle carbon emissions associated with equipment purchasing, and distance travelled for projects, among others. We have used primary data for all calculations except for working from home and office energy use, which are based on government figures. We therefore consider the figures to have a high level of accuracy.
