There is no global net zero without small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but SMEs cannot be expected to meet this challenge without support. The ecosystem must go further, faster, to encourage and incentivize SMEs to take climate action.

We launched the SME Climate Ambition Drive to activate stakeholders with SMEs in their networks, programs, or value chains to encourage SME climate ambition and mobilize SMEs to join the Race to Zero by making the SME Climate Commitment. The SME Climate Ambition Drive is a leading partner of the Climate-Proofing SMEs campaign from the COP29 High Level Champion Nigar Arparadai.

SMEs that make the SME Climate Commitment through the SME Climate Ambition Drive will be eligible to be featured in SME Climate Hub case studies, in media and event opportunities, and gain access to exclusive webinars.

By joining as a campaign Supporter, organizations agree to mobilize and empower their SMEs towards net zero through the SME Climate Hub and inspire them to take climate action. The SME Climate Hub will provide Supporters with exclusive resources to help reduce their value chain emissions and aid SMEs within their networks. Supporters will have the chance to be featured in campaign communication opportunities that raise their organization and SME network as climate leaders.
