2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
As a digital company without an office or any physical products, manufacturing, shipping, or materials to distribute, we do not have scope 1 or 2 emissions per our 2019 and 2020 audit by climateneutral.org. However, we do have scope 3 emissions. Our target was to be net zero by 2028. We have already achieved that goal and are trying to maintain it and stay mindful of our emission. We have continued to reduce our carbon footprint, but that is in part due to downsizing our company operations and relying on outside partnerships. The key for us to select partners that align with our goals and also to advocate for change and action in other companies.

2.4 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a climate action plan and is taking action

*
Yes, the plan and action include all scope 1+2+3

We use EPA.gov's calculator for our home office energy consumption. We use a study from 2021 to measure our Zoom carbon footprint: This study conducted by researchers at Purdue, Yale, and MIT has found that one hour of videoconferencing emits up to 1 kilogram of carbon dioxide, uses up to 12 liters (3.2 gallons) of water, and requires a piece of land the size of an iPad Mini. For our email we use the following: https://carbonliteracy.com/the-carbon-cost-of-an-email/ An average spam email: 0.3 g CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) A standard email: 4 g CO2e An email with “long and tiresome attachments”: 50 g CO2e We aim to remove or reduce attachments and images, especially on mailing list newsletters that are sent to more people.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
2024 total emission from digital business activities and remote offices was 18.5 metric tons of CO2e. We purchased carbon credits from Gold Standard.
