The Small Business Carbon Calculator Just Got an Upgrade

Your business is evolving, and so is our calculator. We have integrated the latest 2025 climate data and expanded our features to capture the reality of modern small business operations.

What’s new:

1. More Accurate Data: Your footprint is now calculated using the updated 2025 emissions factors, ensuring you are aligned with the latest climate science.

2. Expanded Scope Coverage: We have added support for several requested emission sources, so you can build a complete picture of your impact:

  • Fugitive emissions (Scope 1)
  • Waste and water (Scope 3)
  • Transport (Upstream & Downstream)
  • Co-working and serviced offices
  • Self-generated or certified renewable electricity

3. Better Travel Tracking: Whether your fleet is electric or gas, we have made it easier to log data. You can now use mileage-based options for commuting and business travel, with full support for EVs charged off-site.

4. Actionable Insights & Reporting: Make better business decisions with improved report summaries. You can now view emission intensity per unit of revenue or per employee, and toggle between market-based or location-based electricity data.

🇪🇺 For EU-Based SMEs: The calculator now includes a VSME Helper, presenting your data in a format ready for the Voluntary SME (VSME) reporting standard.
