2022 is the first year we have documented data. We are looking to go electric where we can as soon as the battery life is large enough and affordable enough for our vans and machinery. As of yet, the technology is not quite where it needs to be. We are also offsetting our carbon emissions by improving plant life and quality as we treat many hundreds of thousands of square metres of lawn to keep it green and healthy, as well as treating shrubs and flower beds to keep them healthy.

Scope 1 - We are hoping in the next few years, the garden machinery electric technology will have advanced enough for our uses, to last a whole day of work before needing charging. Scope 2 - we are already at 0 Scope 3 - we already use a lot of companies who are net zero or renewable energy, always looking to increase this. But we are not sure how this shows in reporting our expenditure as some of those may be already quite green in their supply chain?

We are due to renovate one of our premises to increase insulation and reduce heat loss during winter. For the second premises, we are due to move office entirely to a more energy efficient premises.
