describe the calculation methodology and comment on accuracy:

*

We are a software development company and have very little office facilities / suppliers with physical deliveries - most is data based. Heating and Hotwater is via a newish oil boiler - we had 2700 litres of oil in the last 12 months. Electricity is supplied by Power NI and we moved to their green tariff. We have estimated all business travel and commuting using the Carbon Calculator

Actions and plans to reduce emissions *

Scope 1 Actions

own facilities

Yes

A move to permanent hybrid working will reduce energy expenditure in the office, we are also reducing the normal heating temperature from 21 to 20 degrees. Phasing out non-led/non-energy efficient lighting, and replacing with only energy efficient lighting. Reminding staff frequently to turn off lighting/equipment when not in active use or needed. Issuing staff with more efficient laptops, and migrating and upgrading our servers to a shared facility rather than our own server room will also reduce energy used.
