3.7.2 Describe your actions taken to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions in the reporting period*

The decrease in gross Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions compared with the previous reporting year is mainly related to implemented emissions reduction activities. These include energy efficiency measures, the use of renewable energy from our photovoltaic system and continuous monitoring and optimization of energy consumption. These activities contributed to reducing our overall greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore a joint evaluation of opportunities to optimize logistics routes and transport processes in cooperation with Bosch. The initiative focuses on identifying potential improvements in transport planning, route efficiency, vehicle utilization and the reduction of unnecessary transport distances. By using logistics data and reviewing transport concepts together, both organizations aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve transport efficiency and increase transparency of logistics-related environmental impacts.

The CEO has overall accountability for environmental matters and ensures that climate-related risks and opportunities are integrated into strategic and operational decisions. Environmental performance indicators, including energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and reduction measures, are regularly reviewed. The implementation of environmental objectives is supported by responsible functions within quality and environmental management and communicated to relevant organizational levels.

Environmental risks and opportunities are identified, assessed and reviewed more than once a year as part of our environmental management approach and Green Logistics certification, which is aligned with ISO 14001 principles. Relevant environmental aspects, including energy consumption, fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, waste generation and regulatory requirements, are monitored and evaluated regularly. The results are reviewed by management and responsible functions. Where necessary, improvement measures, environmental objectives and actions are defined and implemented as part of our continuous improvement process.

As part of our mission, we commit to: Protecting the environment, including preventing pollution, as well as avoiding or reducing harmful environmental impacts of our activities. Considering environmental aspects and relevant environmental impacts in our activities and decisions. Creating a framework for setting and developing our environmental goals.
