Calculated using the Small Business Carbon Calculator v2.0 (SME Climate Hub, powered by Equipoise), report generated 1 October 2026. Upstream leased assets covers booked day offices and coworking space. Employee commuting covers homeworking. Business travel emissions rose from 24.33 tCO2e in 2024 to 43.52 tCO2e in 2025, or from 0.57 to 0.81 tCO2e per employee. This increase was driven by investment-led global growth. In 2025 we used new investment to expand into overseas, and in-person travel to customers and partners was a necessary part of that expansion. We expected business travel emissions to grow during this phase before they fall. Our target to cut business travel emissions intensity by at least 40% against 2024 by 2030 remains in place. As the expansion settles, we will keep using virtual first meetings and rail first routing to bring this down.

We calculate our emissions each year using the SME Climate Hub Small Business Carbon Calculator. Operations reviews the results against our targets each year and agrees any actions needed. We are drafting an environmental policy. It will set out our commitments, who is responsible for them and how we review progress against our targets. We expect to publish it in December 2026.

Our 2025 footprint is 82.44 tCO2e, all in Scope 3. We have no Scope 1 or Scope 2 emissions because we operate fully remotely with no offices of our own. Staff work from home and use booked day offices or coworking space when needed. Headcount grew from 43 at the end of 2024 to 54 at the end of 2025. Emissions per employee were 1.53 tCO2e in 2025, compared with 4.14 tCO2e in 2024 and 7.72 tCO2e in our 2022 base year. Business travel emissions rose from 24.33 tCO2e in 2024 to 43.52 tCO2e in 2025, or from 0.57 to 0.81 tCO2e per employee. This increase was driven by investment-led global growth. In 2025 we used new investment to expand globally, and in-person travel to customers and partners was a necessary part of that expansion. We expected business travel emissions to grow during this phase before they fall. Our target to cut business travel emissions intensity by at least 40% against 2024 by 2030 remains in place. As the expansion settles, we will keep using virtual first meetings and rail first routing to bring this down. Commuting and homeworking emissions per employee stayed broadly flat at around 0.58 tCO2e. Our plan remains aligned with Microsoft's sustainability commitments for Azure, which hosts our platform. By 2030 we aim to reduce Scope 3 emissions intensity per employee by at least 60% against the base year. We will right size and automate cloud resources, use Azure regions supplied by renewable energy where available, and use Azure emissions data to measure and optimise. We will cut business travel through virtual first meetings and rail first routing, extend device lifecycles, and add simple climate criteria to our material supplier contracts. By 2035 we aim to reach net zero across Scope 3, neutralising only the small residual with high quality durable removals.
7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?*
