2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.*

Our base year is 2023, not our original 2020 commitment year — we have no accurate measured emissions data for 2020 that could be used for an accurate comparison, so 2023 is the first year we can report on a full, consistent Scope 1/2/3 basis. We've restated 2023 on the same methodology as 2025 (product-level LCA plus spend-based residual categories). On this basis, our total footprint rose from 1,007.52 tCO2e (2023) to 1,376.52 tCO2e (2025), an increase of roughly 37% — genuinely slower than our ~56% revenue growth over the same period (£4.30m to £6.70m). That's a real decoupling: our carbon intensity per £ of revenue has improved, not just kept pace with growth. We've also checked whether our per-unit product carbon footprint is trending down. Comparing like-for-like (same LCA provider, same cradle-to-grave boundary, both on a real/gross basis): our bamboo 24-roll box footprint fell from 2.46 kgCO2e to 2.093 kgCO2e per box (roughly -15%), driven mainly by lower real distribution emissions. Our position: our absolute emissions are rising more slowly than our sales, and our per-unit product footprint has genuinely improved — both support setting a near-term target that's intensity-based alongside our absolute 2040 net-zero commitment.

2.4 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a climate action plan and is taking action*

Yes

4.5 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your scope 3 emissions?*

Other (please specify)

4.5.1 Specify additional details*

Life-cycle assessment (product-specific, ISO 14067); spend-based method (EEIO factors) for residual categories. Product LCA independently commissioned from inedit/LC Paper (May 2025 & June 2026 studies).

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.*

2025 is the first year we've used an independently commissioned product-level life-cycle assessment (ISO 14067, inedit/LC Paper) rather than a spend-based estimate for our core products. This is a significant data quality improvement and should be read as a refined baseline rather than a direct year-on-year comparison to our prior, less precise spend-based estimate for the same categories.

7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?*

Balancing emission reductions with business growth, Complexities in managing supply chain emissions, Lack of skills and knowledge, Insufficient funding

Specify other challenges*

-

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?*

No
