During the reporting period, we removed the gas supply from our additional office space and replaced it with solar energy. This has reduced our reliance on gas and will help to reduce our Scope 1 emissions in future reporting periods

We work with our clients to identify and recommend more sustainable options throughout the event planning process, helping to reduce the carbon footprint of their events where possible.

We have identified through our ISO 20121 risk assessment that climate change could lead to extreme weather events, such as floods and fires, which could disrupt our operations.

Our mission statement: Our mission is to create unforgettable event experiences that bring people together while keeping the needs of our clients, employees, suppliers, and local communities at the heart of what we do. We are committed to delivering events in the most sustainable way possible through ongoing research into best practices, raising awareness of clients and suppliers, and enabling them to enhance their own sustainability performance. We aim to lead by example and help drive positive change across the industry. We actively work to minimise the impact of our operations, particularly travel-related emissions, and we hold ourselves and our supply chain to high standards when it comes to sustainability, safety, and ethical working conditions We also have a purpose statement: Viva Esprit exists to create positive impact through events that bring people together, guided by an inclusive, responsible approach that supports our people, communities and the environment while driving lasting positive change.

Yes

We have achieved both ISO 20121 accreditation and B Corp certification, which help hold us accountable and support continuous improvement across the business. We have also purchased carbon credits through Carbon Marketplace to offset our 2024 Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.*

Total emissions increased by 11% from 2024, from 4,642 tCO2e to 5,142 tCO2e. Scope 3 increased by 11%, while Scope 2 increased slightly by 2%. Scope 1 emissions increased in 2025 because we purchased additional office space that had an existing gas supply. We have now removed the gas supply, so this should reduce our Scope 1 emissions in future reporting periods. However, we have grown as a business: by revenue and FTE. When you compare it like by like carbon per FTE fell by 12% and carbon per £1m turnover fell by 13% compared with 2024. This indicates that, while our overall emissions increased, our carbon footprint has become more efficient relative to the size and activity of the business.
