BlackCamel Energy Ltd is a Nigerian-registered and licensed sustainable wood products company, certified under ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. We manufacture and export premium sustainable plantation teak products for the international marine, architectural and luxury furniture markets. Our principal products include First European Quality (FEQ) teak decking, cladding and boards, solid teak cockpit tabletops, and bespoke teak and exotic wood tabletops. We focus exclusively on responsibly managed plantation teak (Tectona grandis), with our production model designed to provide high-quality wood products without reliance on natural forest resources. Beyond manufacturing and export, BlackCamel Energy Ltd is developing innovative approaches to climate action and sustainability across the forest-product value chain. We are the founding organization behind the NetZero Carbon Guilt-Free Seal, an initiative focused on strengthening carbon accountability, transparency and measurable environmental impact in wood products. Our business combines sustainable plantation forestry, responsible wood processing, international trade and climate-focused innovation, with the objective of demonstrating that premium wood products can be produced and traded while supporting responsible forest management and a lower-carbon future.

BlackCamel Energy Ltd is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2030, using 2019 as our base year and targeting a 95% absolute reduction in Scope 1 emissions by 2030. Our near-term approach focuses on progressively reducing operational emissions through improved energy efficiency, increased use of renewable energy, cleaner production processes and more efficient logistics. As a sustainable plantation teak producer, we are also strengthening carbon accountability across our forest-product value chain. Through the NetZero Carbon Guilt-Free Seal, we aim to improve transparency, encourage measurable carbon action and support nature-based carbon storage. We will continue to monitor our emissions, improve the quality of our emissions data and engage suppliers and customers in our transition toward a lower-carbon and more sustainable value chain.

3.7.2 Describe your actions taken to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions in the reporting period*
During the reporting period, BlackCamel Energy Ltd continued implementing measures to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. Key actions included improving energy efficiency across production activities, increasing the use of renewable energy, optimizing production processes to reduce unnecessary energy consumption, and improving operational monitoring of energy use and emissions. We also focused on reducing fuel consumption through improved equipment and production practices and increasing the integration of renewable energy into our operations. These measures are intended to progressively reduce our dependence on fossil-fuel-based energy and grid electricity while improving overall production efficiency. In addition, BlackCamel continued strengthening its environmental management approach under ISO 14001:2015 and improving internal monitoring of energy consumption and emissions. These actions form part of our pathway toward our 2030 NetZero target and our near-term commitment to significantly reduce absolute Scope 1 emissions from our 2019 base year.

BlackCamel Energy Ltd has continued to make progress in strengthening its climate action and environmental management during the reporting period. Compared with previous reporting, we have placed greater emphasis on energy efficiency, renewable energy use, production optimization and improved monitoring of energy consumption and emissions. Our approach is focused not only on reducing operational emissions but also on improving the quality and consistency of our emissions data so that future reductions can be measured more accurately. We are also strengthening sustainability considerations across our supply chain and continuing to engage suppliers and customers on responsible production and climate action. The progress achieved during the reporting period supports our longer-term commitment to achieving NetZero by 2030. Going forward, BlackCamel Energy Ltd will continue to improve energy efficiency, increase renewable energy use, reduce fuel and electricity-related emissions, strengthen emissions accounting and identify further opportunities for measurable carbon reduction across our operations and value chain.

We are also strengthening sustainability considerations across our supply chain and continuing to engage suppliers and customers on responsible production and climate action. The progress achieved during the reporting period supports our longer-term commitment to achieving NetZero by 2030. Going forward, BlackCamel Energy Ltd will continue to improve energy efficiency, increase renewable energy use, reduce fuel and electricity-related emissions, strengthen emissions accounting and identify further opportunities for measurable carbon reduction across our operations and value chain.
