During the reporting period, actions included continued use of on-site solar PV, replacement of the diesel forklift with an electric model, energy monitoring and efficiency measures, and a reduction in company vehicle diesel consumption. Vehicle diesel use reduced from 8,156 litres in the baseline year to approximately 5,790 litres in 2025/26. Scope 1 and location-based Scope 2 emissions for the reporting year were approximately 19.06 tCO2e, compared with a baseline Scope 1 and 2 footprint of 22.69 tCO2e. The company recognises that further reductions are required to meet its 2030 target. Key challenges include reliance on diesel vehicles, energy requirements associated with engineering and fabrication activities, and emissions within the wider supply chain. We will continue to monitor energy and fuel consumption, identify further opportunities to reduce fossil fuel use and improve energy efficiency, and develop our measurement of Scope 3 emissions as data availability improves.
