Partnered with national plant operator to procure energy-efficient plant for sites and undertake weekly analysis of fuel usage/efficiency. Introduced series or carbon reduction and climate change toolbox talks for workforce.

As part of our ISO 14001 certified environmental management system, we operate a formal sustainability policy, that is reviewed at least annually. Our process is built around clear accountability, the three pillars of People, Planet, and Places, integration into decision-making and projects, measurement/reporting, and continuous improvement. It applies to all employees (including temporary), customers, supply chain partners, consultants, and third parties. Overall responsibility lies with the Managing Director, with a Head of Sustainability appointed, reporting directly to the Managing Director, to handle day-to-day management of our policy and strategies.

Whilst there has been an increase in our overall carbon footprint from our baseline year in absolute terms, our turnover has increased from £20m in baseline year to £70m in 2025/26, and our employee headcount has increased from 27 in baseline year to 61 in 2025/26. To reflect these growth changes, we have adopted intensity ratios for tCO2e per employee and tCO2e per £m turnover, to normalise and compare emissions over time. These intensity metrics do show a reduction in emissions: tCO2e per employee baseline year 9.50, 2025/26 5.71. tCO2e per £m turnover 12.82 baseline, 4.61 2025/26.
