TwoSquares is a digital marketing business operating without a dedicated office, company vehicles or direct fuel use. Our provisional 2025 baseline is approximately 0.64 tCO₂e, with the majority of emissions associated with homeworking energy use. Website emissions are estimated at less than 1 kg CO₂e per year based on approximately 1,000 monthly page views. We have set an absolute target to reduce Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions by 50% from the 2025 baseline by 2030. Our climate actions include improving energy efficiency, extending the useful life of computer equipment, limiting unnecessary business travel, prioritising remote meetings, maintaining an efficient website and reviewing relevant suppliers and emissions data annually. The baseline is provisional and will be refined as more accurate data becomes available.

TwoSquares does not operate dedicated premises, company vehicles, combustion equipment or refrigeration systems, and does not purchase a separate business electricity, heating or cooling supply. Scope 1 emissions, Scope 2 emissions and associated energy consumption are therefore reported as zero. Energy associated with homeworking is accounted for separately within the company’s Scope 3 emissions estimate.

The assessment currently includes homeworking emissions, calculated from annual working hours using the UK Government homeworking conversion factor, and estimated website emissions based on monthly page views and the Website Carbon methodology. Categories that are not relevant to the company’s operations have been marked as not applicable. Categories for which reliable activity or supplier data is not yet available have been marked as not measured. The Scope 3 total is therefore provisional and will be refined as improved data becomes available.

The 2025 baseline is provisional and currently focuses on the most relevant measurable sources, including homeworking energy use and estimated website emissions. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions are reported as zero because the company does not operate dedicated premises, company vehicles, combustion equipment or a separately purchased business energy supply. Future reporting will use the same methodology where possible, while incorporating improved supplier and activity data. Progress will be reviewed annually against the target to reduce absolute Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions by 50% from the 2025 baseline by 2030.
