Reduction commitments. By 2030, we aim to address 25% of our CO₂e by: reducing embodied emissions (extending device life, reuse, repair/refurb where practical) implementing “no regrets” actions (power management defaults, shutdown habits, seat/licence hygiene, and other low-cost efficiency measures) increasing offset coverage to match any remaining emissions (reported separately from gross emissions) By 2050, we aim to deliver an additional 25% reduction in gross emissions (relative to the current baseline), by sustaining and scaling the same core levers: (1) embodied‑carbon reduction through longer device lifetimes, repair/refurbishment, and circular end‑of‑life routes; (2) operational efficiency (“no‑regrets”) measures such as power‑management defaults, shutdown habits, and licence/seat hygiene; and (3) ongoing offset alignment to neutralise any residual emissions, with gross emissions and offsets reported separately. We will refresh assumptions, factors (e.g., grid intensity), and the emissions inventory as data quality improves, and update actions accordingly.

As of Year 2, I have taken on the role of SME Champion and am building our net zero approach using the best information the company has provided to date. Since the Year 1 baseline was established, Haijahr has expanded and hired three additional team members, increasing both our operational footprint and the emissions associated with day‑to‑day delivery. In response, we have put in place a practical emissions‑reduction plan that takes effect immediately. This focuses on the measures we can control most directly: reducing embodied emissions through longer device lifetimes, repair/refurbishment, and responsible reuse/recycling; implementing “no‑regrets” operational efficiency actions (such as power‑management defaults, shutdown habits, and licence/seat hygiene); and offsetting residual emissions using verified carbon offsets, reported transparently and separately from gross emissions. To ensure accountability and consistent progress, we will hold 6‑monthly 15‑minute check‑ins to review performance against our commitments, update assumptions as data quality improves, and confirm that actions remain effective as the business grows.
7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?*
Limited control over energy use in buildings, Lack of skills and knowledge, Inaccurate or insufficient data
Specify other challenges*
-
7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?*
No
