Our electronic prescribing platform and patient portal, not only facilitate remote care but are paperless. This actively encourages are patients and prescribers to reduce their own paper waste. This has also reduced Roseway’s own paper and printing waste. We conducted training sessions and placed informational posters in the office encouraging employees to recycle and adopt energy and water-saving practices. We aim to continue to do this annually. Clear recycling pathways have been defined and communicated within the office, and employee education has been provided on correct recycling practices. This should reduce the amount of general waste and associated carbon emissions produced. We actively provide opportunities for employees to share sustainable practices they would like to implement through an annual survey and actively integrate them into reduction targets and sustainability action. We use a zero-carbon renewable energy supplier at our London office site, reducing carbon emissions significantly. This made progress towards our 100% renewable energy by 2050 target, with one of our two sites using fully renewable energy. We continue to prioritise public transport, with 100% of our London site employees using public transport to commute. We encourage proper disposal practices, including responsible recycling of production waste, and using sustainable plastic for packaging, where available. We also are continuing to actively recycle our PPE. We actively educate our patients, and prescribers to make informed and environmentally conscious decisions. We provide our publicly available “Sustainability” website page as an information source.
