GDI Hub is a world-leading Academic Research and Practice Centre based at UCL and the first WHO Global Collaborating Centre on Assistive Technology. We\'ve worked in 40+ countries and have reached 64 million people since 2016.

GDI Hub leads an inclusive climate action and resilience workstream with a portfolio of research and innovation projects related to testing disability-inclusive climate solutions, particularly within urban infrastructure and energy access sectors. Further, GDI Hub\'s Travel and AI policies recognise the climate lens and present recommendations aligned to sustainable development principles.

This is the first time a complete emissions calculation has been done for GDI Hub. We do not have any comparative insights. As an organisation delivering multi-country development programmes, our primary source of emission is from international business travel. GDI Hub is committed to exploring ways to further optimise our travel and offset emissions.
