In the reporting period, LAUDE took decisive action to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, most notably by transitioning our office electricity supply to 100% renewable energy backed by Guarantees of Origin, effectively cutting our Scope 2 market-based emissions. Furthermore, we have cultivated a stronger awareness of our carbon footprint across the organization. We are now actively factoring the carbon impact into our routine business decisions, ensuring that our day-to-day operations and broader corporate choices are aligned with our decarbonization objectives

We specifically chose to use this tool because it is the official national platform, ensuring our calculations are fully aligned with the regulatory standards and methodologies in Spain.

This past data gives us a clear understanding of our emission hotspots. Therefore, even without formal measurement this year, we continue to actively consider our carbon footprint in our business decisions. We specifically factor in the impact on our suppliers, business travel, and other value chain activities to ensure our indirect emissions continue to decrease.

Key progress includes switching our offices to 100% renewable electricity and launching a corporate awareness plan. Although Scope 3 measurement was paused this year due to the tool transition, we continue to reduce our indirect emissions through sustainable supplier selection and travel policies, leveraging our historical data. We are now firmly focused on driving our emissions down.
