FORTO Constructores Brasil has established 2023 as its baseline year and has developed a structured decarbonization plan aligned with a 1.5°C pathway. For the 2025 reporting period, emissions and energy consumption have been estimated based on the 2023 baseline, considering the operational characteristics of the Brazilian business As a result, direct emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) remain relatively low, while Scope 3 emissions represent the majority of the company’s carbon footprint. Initial actions have focused on improving data quality, strengthening internal monitoring, and identifying opportunities to engage suppliers and reduce emissions across the value chain. Moving forward, the company aims to refine its data accuracy and expand the scope of emissions tracking.
