gcp have hosted sustainability seminars for our clients and industry professionals to demonstrate how we can accelerate climate focused strategies within the built environment. Following these seminars gcp have engaged with individual organisations to define their environmental KPIs and report on carbon emissions through building lifecycles.

gcp have tracked their carbon emissions since 2019. From this base year we have seen a 63% reduction in emissions per employee, and a 45% reduction in absolute carbon emissions. Currently gcp report Scope 1 + 2 emissions as well as Scope 3 emissions for business travel, which accounts for the primary emissions. gcp intend to expand their reporting scope in coming years. Key actions to reduce emissions since 2019 include the installation of highly efficient mechanical ventilation within our offices, and lobbying the landlord for the installation of solar PV panels.
