2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
Our near-term target is to achieve a 20% absolute reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, using 2021 as our baseline year. In parallel, we aim to improve our environmental efficiency by achieving a 10% reduction in emissions intensity (measured as kg CO₂ per kg of green coffee exported) over the same period.

2.4 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a climate action plan and is taking action

*
Yes, the plan and action include all scope 1+2+3

Renewable energy service providers for import offices in USA and UK

3.8 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your scope 1+2 emissions?

*

Hired an external consultancy

3.8.1 Specify any additional details

*
To calculate our Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, Caravela Coffee has developed an internal reporting platform that systematically collects and logs activity data across our operations in Latin America and our global offices. This includes fuel use, electricity consumption, employee travel, logistics, and other relevant emissions across our value chain. The collected data is then shared with our external partner, One Carbon World (based in the UK), who applies internationally recognized methodologies to quantify our carbon footprint. This partnership ensures a robust, consistent, and credible assessment of our emissions, which supports both internal decision-making and external climate reporting.

Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.2 Have you taken any actions to reduce scope 3 emissions in the reporting period?

*
Yes

4.2.1 What actions have you taken to reduce scope 3 emissions in the reporting period?

*

Switch to renewable electricity,Business travel and commuting,Material circularity and waste reduction

4.2.2 Provide any additional details

*
We have strengthened waste management partnerships at origin to divert organic byproducts from coffee milling—such as pulp and parchment—away from landfills and into composting or local reuse streams, minimizing methane emissions and supporting circular practices. Additionally, we have prioritized sourcing packaging materials from local suppliers, reducing the embedded emissions associated with long-distance transport and supporting regional economies

4.3 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*
No

4.4 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
Yes

4.5 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your scope 3 emissions?

*

Hired an external consultancy

4.5.1 Specify additional details

*

Governance, Strategy and Climate Risk (optional) *

6.1 What governance processes do you have in place for your climate strategy? Choose as many as are applicable.

*

Governance process in place

6.1.3 Please describe the governance process in place

*
We have adopted a new Environmental Policy that formalizes our commitments to emissions reductions, sustainable sourcing, and waste management. To support accountability and decision-making, we’ve developed an internal emissions dashboard that tracks real-time data across our operations by location and role, enabling more responsive and informed actions. Additionally, we have established a carbon reduction plan that outlines specific targets, timelines, and actions to reduce emissions across all scopes, aligned with our 2030 goals.

6.2 Have you started to identify and assess your companies climate risks and opportunities?

*
Yes - we have identified both climate risks and opportunities

6.2.1 Where are the climate risks you've identified?

*
Both operations and value chains

6.2.2 How are you managing these climate risks? Choose as many as are applicable.

*

We’ve quantified the amount and percentage of assets or businesses activities vulnerable to climate risk,We\'ve Identified plans for adaptation to mitigate these risks,We\'ve Integrated these adaptation plans into business practices

6.2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your climate risks:

*
One of the key climate-related risks we monitor is the impact of deforestation and forest degradation in and around coffee-growing regions. These practices contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and threaten the long-term resilience of ecosystems that coffee production depends on—such as stable rainfall, healthy soils, and biodiversity. While Caravela does not source coffee from deforested areas, we recognize the systemic risk that regional forest loss poses to producer livelihoods and supply chain stability. As part of our strategy, we promote agroforestry practices, support shade-grown coffee systems, and engage with producers on land stewardship to protect native vegetation and enhance carbon sinks at origin.

6.3 Have you integrated climate and/or nature into your company mission statement or shareholder agreements? If yes, describe how.

*

No

-

6.4 Have you taken actions this year outside of your emissions to accelerate climate progress?

*

No

-

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
n the most recent reporting period, we resolved key logistical challenges in the U.S., optimizing warehouse and container flows and reducing reliance on long-haul land freight. We strengthened waste management partnerships at origin to divert organic byproducts from landfills, and we reduced the size of our internal fleet through route optimization and improved operational planning. Additionally, we’ve begun partnering with renewable energy service providers in select facilities, marking a first step toward cleaner energy sourcing. These actions collectively contribute to our progress toward our 2030 reduction targets.

7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?

*

Reducing scope 3 emissions,Reducing emissions from business travel,Electrifying the vehicle fleet and/or cutting transport emissions,Complexities in managing supply chain emissions
