As a predominately remote service, with clinicians occasionally travelling to clients across the UK, our main emissions come from home working and transportation. We commit to halve our emissions by 2030; by reducing business travel where possible and encouraging virtual appointments where clinically appropriate, by encouraging low-carbon travel options and booking assessments based on location to maximise fuel efficiencies when a face to face appointment is necessary and by supporting home energy efficiencies. We will reach net zero across our operations and value chain by 2040 at the latest, by continuing to reduce emissions and compensating only for those we cannot eliminate.

Although this is our first year reporting, we have always been aware that every organisation has an obligation to think about how their operations impact the environment, and how best to counter these in a tangible way. Making the pledge and reporting in this way will enable us to approach our sustainability gaols in a more structured and achievable manner.
