Initial strategies include exploring greener options for natural gas and electricity consumption at the Calgary and Gatineau offices to reduce scope 1 emissions and decreasing electricity consumption through more efficient power adapters and LED lights to lower scope 2 emissions.

The environment and combatting climate change are central to Alinea’s mission and commitments. In line with our commitment to achieving net zero, Alinea Canada and Alinea UK have developed carbon reduction plans outlining the steps toward reaching this goal by 2050. These plans are publicly available on our website and shared with business partners as needed. Our codes of conduct detail duty of care and best environmental practices, ensuring that employees, programming partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders are aware of and aligned with Alinea’s mission. Additionally, Alinea participates in the UN Global Compact and submits an annual report to communicate our progress.
