-
3.8 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your Scope 1 and 2 emissions?*
3.8.1 Specify any additional details*
We operate as a fully remote organisation with zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions, so our entire footprint is in Scope 3.
Value Chain Emissions (optional)
Scope 3 emissions
4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?*
Yes
Supply chain related - upstream emissions
Customer related - downstream emissions
Scope 3 units confirmation*
-
4.2 Have you taken any actions to reduce scope 3 emissions in the reporting period?*
Yes
4.2.1 What actions have you taken to reduce scope 3 emissions in the reporting period?*
Business travel and commuting
4.2.2 Provide any additional details*
We operate without physical offices, so Scope 1 and 2 emissions are zero. All our footprint sits in Scope 3, driven by purchased goods and services, business travel, and cloud infrastructure. As we grew from 9 (base year 2022) to 43 (year 2024) employees, total emissions rose to 178.16 tCO₂e in 2024. While this is a large absolute increase, our emissions intensity improved: from ~7.72 tCO₂e per FTE in the base year to ~4.14 tCO₂e per FTE in 2024, a reduction of around 46% per person. This shows that although we scaled, we became more efficient than in 2022.
4.3 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?*
No
4.3.1 What percentage of your suppliers have you asked?*
-
4.4 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?*
Yes
4.5 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your scope 3 emissions?*
Small Business Carbon Calculator
4.5.1 Specify additional details*
Growth in headcount and service delivery increased procurement and digital activity, but we mitigated intensity through remote-first operations and reduced travel. Our cloud and SaaS partners’ decarbonisation efforts also contributed to efficiency gains.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *
7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.*
We have no Scope 1 or Scope 2. Our entire footprint is in Scope 3, dominated by cloud services on Microsoft Azure, business travel, employee homeworking and equipment. We will align our plan with Microsoft’s public sustainability commitments for Azure and the wider Microsoft cloud, including carbon negative operations by 2030, 100 percent renewable energy supply for datacentres, zero waste and water positive goals, and customer level emissions reporting. We will pair this with rigorous workload efficiency so our use of Azure creates the smallest possible footprint. By 2030 we will deliver deep Scope 3 reductions and lock in a low carbon operating model. Reduce Scope 3 emissions intensity per full time equivalent by at least 60 percent versus the base year. Reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions versus 2024 through demand reduction and efficiency, even with growth. Run production workloads in Azure regions supplied by renewable energy where available, adopt carbon aware scheduling as it matures, and use Azure emissions data to measure and optimise. Cut business travel emissions intensity by at least 40 percent versus 2024 through virtual first choices and rail first routing. Extend device lifecycles and increase reuse so equipment emissions fall each year. By 2035 we will reach net zero across Scope 3. Achieve at least a 90 percent absolute reduction versus the base year through cloud efficiency, smart region selection, minimal travel, long life equipment and responsible end of life. Neutralise the small residual with high quality durable removals only, after reduction. Maintain transparent annual reporting and independent review where possible, and update methods as Microsoft’s cloud level data improves. We will right size and automate cloud resources, prefer platform services, optimise data storage tiers and retention, and schedule compute to lower carbon periods and regions. We will apply an internal carbon cost to flights, review homeworking guidance, and embed simple climate criteria in the few material supplier contracts we have, with Azure as the primary lever.
7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?*
Reducing scope 3 emissions, Reducing emissions from business travel, Balancing emission reductions with business growth
Specify other challenges*
-
7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?*
Yes
We used SME Climate Hub Small Business Calculator and TravelPerk CO2 emissions reporting.
