As a digital company without an office or any physical products, manufacturing, shipping, or materials to distribute, we do not have scope 1 or 2 emissions per our 2019 and 2020 audit by climateneutral.org. However, we do have scope 3 emissions. Our target was to be net zero by 2028. We have already achieved that goal and are trying to maintain it and stay mindful of our emission. We have continued to reduce our carbon footprint, but that is in part due to downsizing our company operations and relying on outside partnerships. The key for us to select partners that align with our goals and also to advocate for change and action in other companies.

For our email we use the following: https://carbonliteracy.com/the-carbon-cost-of-an-email/ An average spam email: 0.3 g CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) A standard email: 4 g CO2e An email with “long and tiresome attachments”: 50 g CO2e We aim to remove or reduce attachments and images, especially on mailing list newsletters that are sent to more people.
