We use the Brazilian program GHG Protocol, which aims to establish a culture of corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventories in the country by adapting the GHG Protocol to the Brazilian context. The emission factors are based on internationally recognized publications, such as the IPCC methods (2000, 2006), US-EPA, DEFRA, among others, and can be considered quite accurate. We collect data based on the distances traveled by each employee and reference the mode of transportation used, as well as inventory all the air travel used, referencing the segments traveled, to include in the GHG Protocol calculation spreadsheet

We use the Brazilian program GHG Protocol, which aims to establish a culture of corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventories in the country by adapting the GHG Protocol to the Brazilian context. Our commitment to the climate is part of our business vision and is published in our annual reports, in the Employee Handbook, in our Code of Ethics, in our Green Code, and we are signatories of the Net Zero Ambition Movement with the Global Compact - Brazil Network

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

In addition to being part of the SME Climate Hub, we have signed, since 2020, a commitment to Business Ambition, NetZero 2030. And in 2023, we submitted our emissions reduction targets to the Science-Based Target Initiative. We are also committed to the Net Zero Ambition Movement, an initiative of the UN Global Compact's Brazil Network that aims to challenge and support signatory companies to establish robust, science-based targets. Since 2018, we have been inventorying our emissions according to the GHG Protocol. In addition to measuring emissions, we are dedicated to reducing our emissions and offsetting our residual emissions by purchasing carbon credits from verified projects. In 2024, we offset 19,0034 tCO2e and avoided 4,249 tCO2e of CO2 emissions. With our waste management actions, we stopped sending +736 kg of organic waste to landfills, generating +443 kg of fertilizer from composting.
