Established over 40 years ago, ASM Auto Recycling’s mission is to deliver cost-effective, environmentally responsible solutions for end-of-life vehicles and parts. While our company has grown and invested significantly over the years to become a leader in the vehicle recycling industry, we remain deeply committed to the core family values that have always guided us. As one of the UK’s most advanced and innovative vehicle salvage agents, we operate across multiple business areas, all supporting a circular automotive economy: • Auction before dismantling: Through our vehicle auction programme, we prioritise finding new owners for repairable vehicles, keeping them on the road and extending their lifespan before dismantling for parts • Green parts reuse: We salvage and resell high-quality green parts from end-of-life vehicles, promoting conscious consumerism and reducing the need for new manufacturing… Think Vinted, but for cars! • High-standard recycling: In partnership with our trusted network of recyclers, we ensure all remaining materials are recycled efficiently and responsibly Our business extends beyond vehicle recycling - We embed sustainable practices across all operations, revolving around our community: our own ASM community and our wider stakeholder community. We look to maximise holistic social and environmental wellbeing, ensuring trustworthy impacts across our value chain.

Locally, we are active members of the Thame Sustainability Champions initiative, contributing to the town’s Green Living Plan. We recognise that true environmental progress requires collaboration. That’s why we’ve supported the Vehicle Recycling Association (VRA) in their study into the carbon emissions savings from using green reclaimed vehicle parts instead of newly manufactured. The aim was to fill the gap in existing research and verify the crucial role of the auto recycling industry in helping society achieve substantial carbon reductions and support a circular economy model. We firmly believe that sustainability cannot be achieved in isolation. Only through active cooperation, can we tackle the climate crisis effectively. In 2025, we launched Carbon Literacy training across the business, empowering our employees with the knowledge and tools to act on climate change.
