*
1

1.4.1 Full-time equivalent (FTE) or headcounts

*
Full-time equivalent

1.5 Let us know if your company is a parent company or subsidiary

Commitment and Targets *

2.1 Net zero target year

*
2030

2.1.1 Base year

*
2021

2.2 Near-term target

*

90% of absolute scope 1+2 emission reduction from my base year by 2030

2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
We have achieved more than 90% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions between 2021 and 2023 by installing a cold climate air source heat pump. Our scope 3 emissions from business travel are very low already - 0.12 tCO2e because we have a no fly policy, and mostly travel by EV or public transit.

Own Emissions *

3.1 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a plan and is taking action

*
Yes

Energy consumption

3.2 Total energy consumption

*
616 kwh

3.3 Renewable energy

*
0 kwh

Scope 1 emissions

3.4 Scope 1 emissions

*
0.001 metric tons CO2e

Scope 2 emissions

3.5 Location based scope 2 emissions

*
0.04 metric tons CO2e

3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.

*
Our scope 1 emissions were reduced to zero after July 2024 by completely eliminating natural gas from our premises. We will be working on minimizing our electricity use through continued conservation measures - turning lights, computer, and printer off when not in use.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

*
We used EPA emission factors for natural gas combustion and the 2024 TAF average emission factors for Ontario electricity. A spreadsheet was used to calculate the emissions by multiplying the emission factors by the amount of gas or electricity consumed. Gas and electricity amounts were prorated based on the size of our remote office versus the entire building - 3%.

Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

4.1.1 Total scope 3 emissions

*
0.12 metric tons CO2e

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.1.17 Do you have a plan and are taking action to reduce emissions from your value chain?

*

Yes

Most of our value chain emissions are from business travel. We have a no fly policy and are prioritizing local clients and conference and travel by EV or public transit where possible.

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*
No

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
Yes

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.

*
We used a spreadsheet to keep track of business travel, including distances and mode of transportation. We used USA EPA emission factors for the various modes of transportation.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
Our emissions continue to be extremely low due to our office being heated and cooled by low carbon Ontario electricity. We also have a no fly policy and travel by EV or public transit, keeping our business travel emissions low. Our travel emissions were lower this year than last as we conducted all of our business locally.

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?

*

No
