2.2 Near-term target

*

70% of absolute total emission reduction from my base year by 2030

2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
We have reduced commuting by becoming fully remote, however, still required some commuting in 2024. In 2025, we will reduce this further with all road travel in an EV and eliminate flights. We may not be able to reduce it to 100% of total by 2030 as we will still be limited by cloud and home energy suppliers. We will look to offset the difference.

Own Emissions *

3.1 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a plan and is taking action

*
Yes

Energy consumption

3.2 Total energy consumption

*
6.281 kwh

3.3 Renewable energy

*
0.8294 kwh

Scope 1 emissions

3.4 Scope 1 emissions

*
1.784 metric tons CO2e

Scope 2 emissions

3.5 Location based scope 2 emissions

*
4.197 metric tons CO2e

3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.

*
We aim to reduce commuting and where necessary use EV vehicle. We also plan to eliminate air travel. The use of renewable energy is being implemented in the home.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

*
We used online calculators and where information wasn't available online references for averages in our region. For employee commuting, we calculated the emissions based on distance and type of travel by the total distance. Flights we calculated by the distance and took the average emissions for that distance. We took an average daily consumption per employee for home energy use and average usages provided by Red Energy online. For our computer equipment and use of cloud services, we used available information from those companies and where it wasn't provided, we used an average consumption for a cloud company. We aim to improve the accuracy of the data in 2025 by identifying ways in which we can measure our consumption more accurately.

Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*

Yes

We plan to reduce commuting, eliminate air travel and only travel in an EV or public transport

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

No

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
Yes

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.

*
We have calculated the commute based on distance and average emissions by format of travel

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
We have made significant progress, especially in the reduction of travel, however, we can make further progress here. Our big challenge is sourcing technology and cloud services that meet our business needs and have emission reduction targets themselves.
