Spend based emissions calculations using 3rd party sourced emissions factors. Emissions from use of product based on electricity usage data reported by the units. End of life emissions based on 3rd party consultant report.

Our product is a heat battery that heats like a boiler and stores energy like a battery. It uses electricity to charge its thermal battery and then exchanges this into a home\'s hot water and central heating system as and when that heat is needed. Due to being able to charge when electricity is cheaper and lower carbon and then disscharge and use this energy in higher cost and carbon periods this is a low carbon heating alternative to fossil fuel boilers.

Our total emissions (scopes 1 to 4) have increased as we scale the business and this will continue whilst the number of units sold and used is relatively low. As the number of units installed the scope 4 emissions avoided will increase and then reach the point at which the emissions avoided outweigh the sum of the scope 1-3 emissions and we achieve net zero. Key to achieving this is therefore sales volumes, which are materially supported by the implementation of government regulatory support.
