AEA's scope 1 emissions are at near zero. We plan to reduce our scope 2 emissions by curbing gas and electric use to run the New York office space, and explore renewable energy options available to us.

We have utilized Normative’s Business Carbon Calculator to estimate our emissions for FY22, FY23, and FY24. Our total estimated emissions have increased over this period, with business travel showing the most significant increase. This trend is largely attributed to the gradual easing of COVID-19-related travel restrictions and the return to pre-pandemic travel levels.
