ekko is a mission-driven fintech founded on the belief that everyone, everywhere needs to take action on climate and nature to ensure a more sustainable future for all. We help financial institutions provide their customers with information about the environmental impact (climate and nature) of every transaction. In this way, customers (whether individual consumers or small businesses) can better understand their impact and make more informed purchasing decisions. In addition, users can compensate for their purchases through Gold Standard or make a contribution to an environmental project through one of ekko\'s impact partners, including Conservation International, Tusk, RRSP, Prevented Ocean Plastics, Conservation Collective, etc. Our goal is to drive USD 1 Billion to impact projects around the world within five years. We have built a business that is based on connecting financial services companies, their consumers and leading environmental organisations to convert small positive actions by many into a big change for all. We do this by embedding our solutions in bank and payment platforms to give consumers the opportunity to measure the environmental footprint of their transactions, track it over time, and contribute to vetted environmental projects.
