Scope 1: The company will now insist on the purchase of Bio Diesel only for the company car. We also offer a Work from Home program that allows employs to work from home and reduce vehicle usage. Scope 2: The company is constrained by the supply of electricity that we buy from the local Metropolitan Electrical Authority. We cannot request the purchase of Renewable Energy from the grid in Thailand. We also cannot install solar panels and batteries, due to being located inside a building complex. However, we are replacing fluorescent lighting with LED lights. Furthermore, we have a program to shut off the air-conditioners in the office after 5pm. The air conditioners are the largest consumer of electricity. We use the Energy Control function whenever possible and keep the temperature at 24C degrees to further reduce electricity consumption.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

Use of online calculators. We input data from fule and electricity bills. Where possible, we try to obtain CO2 footprint reports from suppliers, such as airlines and couriers services.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
In 2023 we began our journey of reporting to the SME Climate Hub and in 2024, it continues. For Ashlar, it has definitely been a challenge to collect and properly calculate our carbon footprint, with the limited tools available in Thailand. Nevertheless, we continue to make efforts to reduce our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions each year. Our focus on promoting “work from home” has helped us to reduce time in the office as well as commutes by employees. In 2024, we did have more car travel to clients in surrounding provinces, which raised our Scope 2 emissions a little over that of 2023. Also, we did have a business flight to Germany in October which added 2.8 Mt to our Scope 3 emissions. Business flights are unusual for our company, so this was somewhat of an anomaly. Although we are constrained in the purchase and use of renewable electrical energy, we do our best to reduce energy used in the office environment and even the home office environment. The Sr. Consultant routinely works from home, mostly using only a fan and natural ventilation for room cooling in the office.

7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?

*

Reducing scope 1 emissions,Reducing scope 2 emissions,Reducing scope 3 emissions,Limited control over energy use in buildings,Reducing emissions from business travel,Electrifying the vehicle fleet and/or cutting transport emissions,Balancing emission reductions with business growth,Slow societal and economic progress on climate action,Insufficient policies or government incentives,Inaccurate or insufficient data

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?
