2.695 metric tons CO2e

3.6 Market based scope 2 emissions*

-

3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.*

Our team work from home, so energy expenditure covers lighting, heating, and laptops. We are looking into how we can help our team switch to renewable energy tariffs.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.*

We have calculated our energy use for 4.5 FTE colleagues working from home using figures provided by bulb.co.uk (now acquired by octopus energy). Laptops are 140 watts per hour, lighting is 10 watts per hour, and heating is based on 800 kwh per month over 6 months. The emissions factors for this energy use comes from Carbon Footprint Limited, who have carried out an LCA for us

Value Chain Emissions (optional)

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?*

Yes

4.1.1 Total scope 3 emissions*

3127.97 metric tons CO2e

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.1.17 Do you have a plan and are taking action to reduce emissions from your value chain?*

Yes

We are redesigning our products to be more compact and take up less space in transport, and we are also moving more of our transport to electrified rail.

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?*

No

4.2.1 What percentage of your suppliers have you asked?*

-

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?*

Yes

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.*

Our total is higher than the total of the breakdown figures provided because we have also included emissions from our advertising - 247.096 tonnes. We have used the spend based method based on this guidance: https://ghgprotocol.org/sites/default/files/2023-03/Scope3_Calculation_Guidance_0%5B1%5D.pdf We will be looking to refine and improve our calculations over the coming years so they can be as accurate as possible.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.*

We do not offset so the figures we report are figures that we are actively working to reduce through real CO2e reductions. We have commissioned detailed LCAs for our products in 2023 and 2024, and have seen reductions in our climate footprint as a result of efforts made to redesign our products, make our raw material supply more efficient, and move part of our transport to electrified rail.

7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?*

Electrifying the vehicle fleet and/or cutting transport emissions, Complexities in managing supply chain emissions, Insufficient policies or government incentives

Specify other challenges*

-

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?*

Yes

Our near and long term targets have been approved by the SBTi
