0 metric tons CO2e
3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.*
We hope to soon begin construction on a bespoke, sports hall which we will run our operations out of and deliver the majority of our provision from. Creating this struction from the ground up will allow us to implement energy efficency and climate-concious decision making from the start of the building's use. Whilst creating the structure will increase our production of Co2, the sustainability and income it will generate will allow us to afford more environmentally-friendly equipment, energy providers / sources, schemes / projects and much more. Due to the condition of the venue we have been operating out of, we were forced to use propane tank-fueled heaters to stave off winter's chill. Because of the infrastrucure of our new site, the the sports hall we hope to build soon, this Co2 contributer will be replaced with a more energy efficent solution.
3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.*
3.2 Energy Consumption: This number was taken directly from our current energy provider. 3.3 Renewable Energy: Unfortunately, we haven't been able to generate or buy any renewable energy as it was too expensive. 3.4 Scope 1 emissions: The data we have to calcuate is the 29 tanks of 11 kg Propane used to the heat our previous venue, and the roughly 23,040 miles traveled by car to deliver our provision. Whilst this will omit some emmisions, it encompasses the vast majority of our Scope 1 contributions. The propane tanks were calculated by converting the 319 kg of Propane to gallons, as I found a source stating 1 gallon equals 5,719 gramms of Co2 (https://impactful.ninja/the-carbon-footprint-of-propane/). Then converted the total gramm-age to metric tons. The miles traveled were calculated using the following website: https://calculator.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx?tab=4. The 23,040 miles were calcuated with the vechicle we primarily use, a 2006 Vauxhall Astra. 3.5 Location Based Scope 2 Emissions: We convereted our engery used from 3.2 into metric tons as this was the only contributer we could identify. 3.6 Market Based Scope 2 Emissions: We could not identify any emission in this area.

Results, Challenges and Outlook *
7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.*
Last year, our estimated Co2 produced was 10.9 metric tons, This year's comes to 12.2 metric tons. Unfortunately, this is a slightly higher number. The reason for this is the growth in our session attendance demanding more heating via propane gas heaters, and venue hire outside of our standard operating hours increasing which in turn means further electricity and heating were needed. With the inefficient method of propane heating being a thing of the past now, we should be able to reduce our emissions this time next year. Unfortunately, reducing Scope 1 emissions caused by transport will prove to be difficult, as we deliver provisions at other organisations' facilities often, with it not being viable to have all our sessions take place at our venue.
7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?*
Reducing scope 1 emissions, Insufficient funding
Specify other challenges*
-
7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?*
No
