5% of absolute scope 1+2 emission reduction from my base year by 20245

5 of intensity total emission reduction from my base year by 2024

2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
We have made reductions on a previously set baseline year of 2021. However that baseline only included aspects of our scope 3 emissions. We are currently measuring our entire scope 3 to set a new baseline for 2023. The next step will be to create reduction targets for the next 5 years and beyond. This will help us assess how quickly we can reach net zero.

Own Emissions *

*
Yes

Energy consumption

3.2 Total energy consumption

*
631452 kwh

*
64.14 metric tons CO2e

3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.

*
Continued management of energy consumption using the ISO 50001 management system and certification achieved across all group properties. Switch to 100% renewable energy contract across all group properties to reduce market based emissions.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

*
Data is tracked from energy provider reporting and manual meter reads. Carbon emission data is verified by external company Planetmark. Emissions are based on GHG protocol emissions factors.

Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

4.1.1 Total scope 3 emissions

*
1721 metric tons CO2e

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.1.17 Do you have a plan and are taking action to reduce emissions from your value chain?

*

Yes

We are base lining our entire scope 3 value chain emissions in 2024. This will give us a starting point to begin reductions and will align us with ISO Net Zero guidance. Once we have a complete baseline we can form a strategy on how we will achieve Net Zero.

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*
No

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.

*
Waste in operations is tracked via external provider reports. Business travel is tracked via external provider reports and then both are independently verified by Planetmark and form part of our certification scope. Upstream transportation has been calculated using the normative spend calculator. Total spend on courier costs has been used and then input into the calculator to provide an estimated tCO2e. Commuting emissions have been estimated from internal survey results.
