In 2022 BPSEC took part in a regional call, “AL VIA”, that supports the investments boost. BPSEC’S plan is to optimise processes and boost the availability of green laboratory equipment and production plants, and to decrease the environmental impact.

The adhesion to the "AL VIA" call will allow to minimise the energy consumpion, paper usage and waste generation in the internal processes. BPSEC successfully completed an Integrated Management System compliance certification, based on UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), UNI ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) and UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories). The Integrated Management System defines procedures and methodologies to ensure the performance and the efficiency of the Company’s processes.

Part of BPSEC's core business is made of: - ImprontaZero® project: BPSEC’s solution to eliminate organisations, intitutions, sport teams and events’ carbon footprint, supporting them with Carbon Footprint measuring, Life Cycle Assessment, Agenda 2030 programs, Sustainability Reports, Certifications UNI ISO 20121 (Events Sustainability Management System). - Environmental consultancy: technical-regulatory and management requirements. - Pollution: BPSEC acts for the monitoring and possible reduction of different types of environmental pollution.
