comment on your near-term targets

*

Scope 1 - 90% target by 2026 - we have extended our target to 2026 here due to not being able to find a suitable electric vehicle with the right capacity and range to transport our team and materials to site. Scope 2 - 100% by 2025 - we currently do not have any scope 2 emissions and so are hitting this target already. Scope 3 - 50% by 2030 - this remains the most challenging target to hit, but we are working on a number of sector based initiatives that we hope will bare significant fruit before 2030.

Comment on your energy consumption

*

Scope 1 energy consumption remains our only main source of emissions, this is through the operation of our Euro 6 diesel van. All of our gas (for heating) and electricity is provided by Ecotricity (Britain's greenest energy company) and has been confirmed as zero emissions by the provider on a market based approach.

List any sources of emissions excluded:

*

Capital goods - we have not been able to find any emissions factors for the purchase of the new CNC machine, crew car and AV equipment. End of life treatment of products - given that most of the events we work on, the product is returned to our workshop for processing, only around 10-15% of the projects we work on do the client keep what has been built, and if they do, they keep it for many years. Due to it being such a small %, we have not prioritised following up with those clients to track end of life. Furthermore, waste produced on site during installation or removal of an event has also not been tracked yet.

describe the calculation methodology and comment on accuracy:

*

We continue to measure and report on emissions in a an open and transparent way - using UK government emissions factors for consistency. For material usage, we have accurately mapped 51% of the emissions - taking all spending on wood over £100 and all spending on metal and plastic over £1,000. The remaining 49% has been estimated based on the 51% that has been accurately mapped. Waste, transport, employee commuting and business travel are all tracked through our accounting software and so represent an accurate picture.

We have purchase Verified Emissions Reduction Certificates (VERS) from Gold Standard to offset our emissions for 2023. Projects we have invested in include: > Solar power project in Rajasthan > Clean cooking project in Somalia > Biogas project in Uganda > Biodiversity restoration project in Honduras > Reforestation project in Costa Rica We are also silver members of the Essex Wildlife Trust and contribute to their good work.

how are they quality secured?

*

All of the VERS are purchased through Gold Standard - a globally recognised platform for carbon credits. Our credits can be found in their impact registry - https://registry.goldstandard.org/credit-blocks?q=GSM23094&page=1
