Bradford Trident, a community anchor charity and social enterprise, is rooted in the heart of Little Horton, South Bradford. Our vision is for a welcoming, active, healthy, and proud community where families thrive. Our current activities include: • Accountable body for Better Start Bradford (BSB) partnership providing 0-4 year olds the best possible start in life • Park Lane Childrens’ Nursery • Healthy Lifestyles and Horton Health Heroes • Bicycle Library and active travel hub • Community Development service • Digital Inclusion services • Enterprise Support • Better Place programme (a BSB commission) • Adversity and Trauma Resilience training and awareness (with support from the WAVE trust) • Operation and management of community owed buildings including Parkside Sports Centre

Parkside improvments completed last yerar with whole building LED lighting, extensive solar array and accompanying battery storage plus replacement of gas central heating with ASHP. Year on results are very encouraging with 75% reduction in energy costs and 88% gas use reduction and 13% electricity usage reduction and 93% self-sufficiency. Mayfiled competed LED refit and extensive solar array and accompanying battery storage. Detailed retrofit plans for Edwards St and Park lane prepared and seeking finance.
