As a fully-remote-based team, we are reducing energy consumption by continuing to work in our home offices, using natural light when possible, and purchasing carbon credits to offset.

Our calculation for Scope 2 emissions covers the electricity used by our employees working from home. We estimated their share of home electricity usage, calculated the annual kWh for business activities, and applied an average emission factor (0.6397 kg CO₂/kWh). The total Scope 2 emissions for remote work is approximately 7.63 metric tonnes of CO₂ per year. To be conservative with our calculation, we estimate our scope 2 emissions is 10 metric tonnes.
