Edmolift UK Limited is a manufacturer and supply of specialist lifting equipment equipment; including installations, servicing and repairs and spare parts. We been at the forefront of innovative scissor lift technology and design since 1964; and are one of the U.K.’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of scissor lift tables, pallet handling products and manual handling aids. We have been successfully, supplying and installing equipment into companies of all sizes, in all industrial sectors including engineering, manufacturing, packaging, processing, healthcare and research.

Our overall goal is to halve emissions from business travel, office and project operations by 2030 from a 2024 base year and achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions in these categories by 2050. In 2024, we made a commitment to reduce the climate impact of our business. On our journey towards net zero, we have set near-term climate targets covering emissions from energy consumption in our offices, business travel and purchases of goods and services. These targets will be independently verified as being in line with the 1.5°C climate target and the latest climate science.

By providing electric and battery powered lifting equipment solutions we can support customers to reduce their own emissions significantly. The average operational life expectancy of an Edmolift lift table is over 15 years. We encourage a good service and maintenance regime to ensure trouble free operation and compliance with statutory regulations. For example, our 'HD-series' of heavy duty lift tables can last over half a million lift cycles.  We continually monitor and make use of use new technologies to make our lifting equipment even more sustainable. Optimizing manufacturing process and product design to improve its recyclability, durability, and service life

As of 2024 we are a participating company to The UN Global Compact Introduced training and awareness programs for employees and other interest parties. Introduced a biodiversity initiative, having purchased a 1500(sq. m) ex-builders yard located on the bank of the Bumpstead Brook in Steeple Bumpstead, we are developing it as a conservation area - Lift Nature. Promoting British flora and fauna indigenous to the area, this space will become home to insects, amphibians, mammals, and plant life. Habitats will be introduced to help life thrive, staff members have agreed to pledge time to the project and Edmolift have committed to never develop the land in the interests of biodiversity and provide financial support on an on-going basis.

This is our first climate report. While 2024 has been selected as the base year, we do have some data from previous years. Using 2023 (CO2e) as a comparison. Electricity - 4% decrease Waste Landfilled - 6% increase Transportation and distribution (upstream) data is an on-going challenge data relative to volumes. We are striving to broaden our reporting to cover all impact factors and will engage third party experts to assist us on our journey.
