​The following environmental management measures and projects are now implemented: ​Continued promotion of hybrid working, reducing business travel and energy consumption. ​Donation or onward selling of old IT equipment, instead of sending it to a landfill creating a circular economy. ​Encouraging virtual meetings where possible, to reduce travel. ​Development of a company Environmental Policy.  ​The following measures and projects are currently in progress: ​Implementation of a company Environmental Policy, ensuring all Clarion People are aware of our commitment to the Carbon Reduction Plan and their personal obligations. ​Provide Carbon Literacy training for all Clarion People. ​Implementing procedures in the office to switch off unused equipment and to switch off power at the end of the working day so that screens and other equipment are not left on stand-by. ​ ​In future we will explore further measures such as: ​Considering investing in verified carbon offsetting projects such as Woodland Carbon Code, CER or similar. ​Use of Cycle-to-Work scheme and electric car leasing scheme.

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

​In the baseline year, Clarion Insight had 15 permanent staff (employees) and 20 Associates. This number has increased to 26 employees and 16 Associates in the current reporting year. The permanent staff use the office space more regularly whereas Associates are more likely to work from home or Client sites. ​Clarion Insight moved to a much larger office space from 22/05/2023. The new office space is used by a high number of visitors and Clients. ​In order to progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets: ​We aim to halve our emissions by 2030 and achieve Net Zero by 2050. ​Accounting for the initial increase in our emissions, as explained above, we aim to reduce our CO2e emissions per capita to below our baseline levels by 2027. We have set a target of 0.65t CO2e per capita by 2030.
