100 of absolute scope 2 emission reduction from my base year by 2026

2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
Scope 1 emissions were fully offset with our gas supplier throughout the 2024/25 report period. Scope 2 emissions will be zero by 1st April 2026, based on market-based GHG Emissions, considering the GHG Protocol Version 2004. Whilst we aspire to accurately measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions directly in the short term, long term we plan to neutralise any remaining emissions with additional, quantifiable, real, permanent, and socially beneficial offsets. The 2025 baseline year only includes scope 1 and 2 emissions whilst we develop our understanding of our scope 3 emissions. We hope to report on scope 3 in future years.

2.4 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a climate action plan and is taking action

*
Yes, the plan and action include scope 1+2

3.7.2 Provide any additional details

*
Following our installation of 18 new solar panels on our building roof, an inverter, and a storage battery in March 2024, we switched to a fully renewable electricity provider in March 2025. This will enable us to be scope 2 carbon neutral for the upcoming 2025/26 reporting period. Further details of our efforts can be read here: https://www.elmbridge.gov.uk/news/2024/green-business-boost-walton-company-et-works-journey-net-zero

*
The Small Business Carbon Calculator utilises the spend-based calculation method for a large proportion of our Scope 3 emissions estimate. It is expected that our Scope 3 calculation is an over estimated as a result of this and so whilst we are using it to identify where our emissions are most intense we do not believe the calculation is accurate enough yet for formal external reporting. As we refine our understanding and engagement with our supply chain, our scope 3 emissions calculation will be further refined.
