Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

4.1.1 Total scope 3 emissions

485 metric tons CO2e

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.1.17 Do you have a plan and are taking action to reduce emissions from your value chain?

*

Yes

Scope 3 emissions are estimates based on the data we were able to obtain. In 2023, we have: -Started working with a new travel booking agency with improved reporting capability -Installed EV charging points -Implemented an EV purchasing scheme for employees, which complement our bike to work scheme Our current plan to reduce emissions from value chain includes -Investigate the use of new technologies to limit the requirements of our employees travelling for business -Improve data collection -Carbon budget for business travel

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*
No

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
Yes

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.

*
-Emissions linked to waste have been obtained by converting the weight by waste category provided by our waste collector into tCO2e using the 2023 UK gov. conversion factors. -Business travel emissions have been obtained from our travel booking agency. -Emissions linked to leased asset have been calculated using energy consumption data and the UK gov conversion factors. -Emissions linked to transportation and distribution have been calculated using data shared by the logistics suppliers that were able to give us this information, and applied pro-rata to the total costs for this category. -Emissions linked to employees commuting have been calculated following an employees survey. We assumed that the employees who filled the survey were a representative sample of all employees.

Climate Solutions (optional) *

5.1 Do you classify any of your existing goods and/or services as a climate solution?

*
No

Management, Strategy and Climate Risk (optional) *

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
In 2023 Scope 1&2 emissions were reduced by 14% compared to our 2021 baseline. We observed a slight increase in energy consumption in 2023 compared to 2022 (in 2022 Scope 1&2 were reduced by 15% compared to our 2021 baseline) due to an exceptionally productive year. Our IR* was reduced from 10.7 in 2021 to 6.3 in 2023. *IR = Intensity Ratio; tonnes of CO2e (Scope 1 + Scope 2) per total £m turnover

7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?

*

Reducing scope 1 emissions,Reducing scope 3 emissions,Reducing emissions from business travel,Balancing emission reductions with business growth,Complexities in managing supply chain emissions,Time constraints,Inaccurate or insufficient data,Limited influence over suppliers

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?
