Social Pantry has established near-term and Net Zero targets in line with the UN\'s Race to Zero. To accurately track our decarbonisation progress against business growth, we have chosen a revenue-based intensity metric (tCO2e per £m turnover). This directly links our carbon footprint to our core business output, providing a more meaningful measure of efficiency than metrics based on employee count, which can fluctuate significantly with seasonal and event-based staffing.

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

This reporting period saw continued strong business growth, leading to an expected increase in our absolute emissions compared to our 2023-2024 baseline. However, we are pleased to report that our carbon intensity (tCO2e per £m turnover) has significantly decreased. This demonstrates that our sustainability strategies, particularly our commitment to 100% renewable energy and the electrification of our vehicle fleet, are successfully improving our carbon efficiency as we continue to scale the business.
