Yes

We commissioned a life cycle assessment of our products to get an in-depth understanding of our product and value chain emissions. Our product has a carbon footprint of 39.2 kg CO2 eq. / m2. This includes upstream supply chain, manufacturing, installation on-site, maintenance and repair, use-phase over 5o years and projected end-of-life scenarios for materials. We are analysing emission hotspots and will make changes to purchasing, design and material choices based on the LCA results.

We used Normative Carbon Calculator to get an outline of our scope 3 emissions. For more in-depth information we commissioned an LCA of our product to look at upstream, manufacturing, use-phase and projected impacts of materials at their end of life. We have this data for our products from the year 2023 onwards.

We build well insulated homes that are quick to manufacture off site and quick to install on site. Campared to a regular terraced brick house in the UK our modules emit around 10% less ghg emissions during construction and use-phase.

Our product LCA by leading sustainability consultancy Metsims, shows a 39.2 kg CO2 eq. / m2. Compared to another LCA on a comparable brick built house with a 309 t CO2 eq. / m2. We include a sustainability statement in our mission statement and company handbook. We became a certified B Corporation in 2021 and amended our company governance structure to include acountability to all our stakeholders. We are pleased to have improved our score this year by 17%.

As a certified B Corporation and co-host a regular local sector focused event to share our experience with other businesses and encourgage more companies to address social and environmental asects of thier business activities.
