Scope 1 emissions

3.4 Scope 1 emissions

*
0 metric tons CO2e

Scope 2 emissions

3.5 Location based scope 2 emissions

*
46.50 metric tons CO2e

3.6 Market based scope 2 emissions

*
0 metric tons CO2e

3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.

*
We continue to support remote work and offer incentives for employees to telecommute, which helps reduce transportation-related emissions. For employees who need to commute, we encourage the use of public transportation. We promote sustainable practices among employees, such as reducing waste and recycling.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

*
Since our organisation does not produce Scope 1 emissions, the focus is entirely on calculating Scope 2 emissions, which relate to indirect emissions from the consumption of purchased electricity. The primary source of data is electricity bills, which provide detailed information on the amount of electricity consumed over a specific period. For the calculation we used the tools such as www.websitecarbon.com, www.cencepower.com, www.carbonfootprint.com and Google Spreadsheets

Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

4.1.1 Total scope 3 emissions

*
213.8717 metric tons CO2e

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.1.17 Do you have a plan and are taking action to reduce emissions from your value chain?

*

Yes

-

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
Yes

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.

*
We used the Distance-based method, which involves collecting data from employees on commuting patterns (e.g., distance travelled and mode used for commuting) and applying appropriate emission factors for the modes used.

Climate Solutions (optional) *

5.1 Do you classify any of your existing goods and/or services as a climate solution?

*

5.2 What percentage of your total revenue comes from sales of climate solutions?

*
70 %

5.3 Provide descriptions/names of your climate solutions:

*
Envirocrops, SAFinity

5.4 Methodology used to assess these as climate solutions, and third party which has validated the assessment, if any:

*
Envirocrops - Part of The Biomass Feedstocks Innovation Programme - a £36 million programme, funded through the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s £1 billion Net Zero Innovation Portfolio, which aims to accelerate the commercialisation of innovative clean energy technologies and processes through the 2020s and 2030s. https://safinity.net/ Sustainable Aviation Fuels Purchase SAF, Deliver SAF to Airports to replace Jet- A1 fuel Carbon Reduction Programs

Management, Strategy and Climate Risk (optional) *

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
Compared to previous years, in the reporting year, we have a good progress in a significant reduction in our carbon footprint. A key factor in the reduction is the decrease in electricity consumption, as fewer employees are commuting to the office and conducting business meetings in person due to the shift towards home working since COVID-19. With fewer employees commuting and reduced business travel, the overall transportation-related emissions have decreased. The demand for office supplies, such as paper, has significantly declined as a result of remote work. We are continuing to focus on reducing electricity consumption by optimising energy use in our office. Also, we plan to maintain and enhance remote working options, which not only support employee well-being but also contribute to ongoing reductions in transportation and office-related emissions.

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?

*

No
