25 of intensity scope 3 emission reduction from my base year by 2029

2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
We do not have any current scope 1 emissions. Our scope 2 emissions come solely from employees working from home. We are looking to reduce intensity by encouraging employees to move onto green home gas and electric tariffs. Our scope 3 targets are primarily driven by our supply chain expenses and business travel. We are looking to encourage employees to move to electric/hybrid vehicles and to work with ethical suppliers who are also committed to reducing their GHG emissions.

*
Yes

3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.

*
As a company, we do not own or control any operations that generate Scope 1 emissions and do not directly purchase any electricity, steam, heating, or cooling that generate Scope 2 emissions. However, our employees all work from home and therefore consume heating and electricity for performing company work. We are looking at incentivising all employees to move onto green electricity tariffs, and where possible green gas tariffs.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

*
We use the methodology in the EcoAct Home Working 2020 Whitepaper (https://info.eco-act.com/hubfs/0%20-%20Downloads/Homeworking%20emissions%20whitepaper/Homeworking%20Emissions%20Whitepaper%202020.pdf) for calculating our home gas and electricity usage. These figures were then used in the SME Climate Hub Normative calculator for calculating the related emissions. There are a number of assumptions in this methodology that probably aren\'t correct for us, however, given the scale of these emissions, and the maturity of our company, these are deemed to be accurate enough.
