*
2025

2.1.2 Base year value

*
1.93

2.2 Near-term target

*

50% of absolute scope 1+2 emission reduction from my base year by 2030

2.3 Provide any additional comments or context on your net zero and near term targets.

*
2025 is our base year, as it is our first year with a consolidated greenhouse gas inventory prepared using GHG Protocol definitions and boundaries. Our near-term target is to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50% by 2030, relative to the 2025 base year (2025 Scope 1+2 = 1.93 tCO2e). Our longer-term ambition is to achieve net zero by 2030. In 2025, the majority of our emissions footprint sits in Scope 3 (Scope 3 = 10.61 tCO2e out of 12.54 tCO2e total), so we will continue to improve Scope 3 data quality year-on-year (e.g., better activity data and supplier engagement where proportionate) and refine our reduction plan as measurement and controls mature.

2.4 To reduce emissions in line with my commitment, my company has a climate action plan and is taking action

*
Yes, the plan and action include all scope 1+2+3

Own Emissions *

Energy consumption

3.5 Location-based scope 2 emissions

*
1.61 metric tons CO2e

3.6 Market-based scope 2 emissions

*
1.61 metric tons CO2e

3.7 Have you taken any actions to reduce scope 1+2 emissions in the reporting period?

*
Yes

3.7.1 What actions have you taken to reduce scope 1+2 emissions in the reporting period

*

Other company behavioural changes

3.7.2 Provide any additional details

*
During the reporting period we progressed our Scope 1+2 reduction approach by initiating an office-footprint and energy-efficiency review. This included exploring a relocation to the Sussex University Innovation Hub and beginning work to separate/exit our existing building lease. The objective is to reduce our office energy demand and improve building energy performance, which will reduce Scope 2 electricity emissions once implemented.

3.8 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your scope 1+2 emissions?

*

Other (please specify)

3.8.1 Specify any additional details

*
VSME Helper Report (aligned to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, Revised Edition 2004). Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were calculated using the VSME Helper Report, aligned to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard (Revised Edition 2004). Inputs were based on our 2025 electricity consumption from utility billings (total energy 9.1 MWh; no self-generated electricity and no fuels recorded in the calculator). Scope 2 is reported using both the location-based and market-based methods; market-based equals location-based as no supplier-specific contractual instruments (e.g., EACs/REGO-backed factors) were applied.

Value Chain Emissions (optional) *

Scope 3 emissions

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

Supply chain related - upstream emissions

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.2 Have you taken any actions to reduce scope 3 emissions in the reporting period?

*
Yes

4.2.1 What actions have you taken to reduce scope 3 emissions in the reporting period?

*

Climate strategy and planning,Business travel and commuting,Digital and technology-enabled solutions

4.2.2 Provide any additional details

*
We minimise Scope 3 travel where practicable by using virtual meetings and remote collaboration, and we continue to support flexible/remote working to reduce commuting impacts. We also initiated a workplace review (including potential relocation options) aimed at reducing commuting-related emissions over time.

4.3 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*
No

4.4 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
Yes

4.5 Which tools or methods did you use to calculate your scope 3 emissions?

*

Other calculator (please specify)

4.5.1 Specify additional details

*
Scope 3 estimates were produced using the VSME Helper Report (aligned to GHG Protocol scope/category structure). For 2025 we quantified categories covering fuel & energy-related activities (category 3), waste in operations (category 5), business travel (category 6), and employee commuting/homeworking (category 7). Other Scope 3 categories are currently not measured in this submission and will be added as data quality and coverage improve.

Climate Solutions (optional) *

5.1 Do any of your existing products and/or services qualify as climate solutions or enabling solutions?

*

No

Governance, Strategy and Climate Risk (optional) *

6.1 What governance processes do you have in place for your climate strategy? Choose as many as are applicable.

*

Person is responsible for climate strategy at board level

6.1.1 Please describe their position and responsibility.

*
Robert Fielding, Chief Executive Officer and Net Zero Champion

6.1.2 Is this person (or another at executive and board level) also responsible for climate risk?

*
Yes

6.2 Have you started to identify and assess your companies climate risks and opportunities?

*
No - we plan to in the next 1-5 years

6.3 Have you integrated climate and/or nature into your company mission statement or shareholder agreements? If yes, describe how.

*

No

-

6.4 Have you taken actions this year outside of your emissions to accelerate climate progress?

*

No

-

Results, Challenges and Outlook *

7.1 Provide any additional comments or context on your annual results and progress from previous years.

*
2025 is our base year and first year of consolidated emissions reporting, so year-on-year comparisons are limited at this stage. Our 2025 footprint is relatively small (Scope 1+2: 1.93 tCO2e; total Scope 1–3: 12.54 tCO2e), with the largest proportion currently estimated in Scope 3. During the year we initiated practical measures to support reductions, including reviewing our office footprint and energy use and exploring relocation options (including the Sussex University Innovation Hub) alongside options to separate our existing building lease where feasible. We will continue to improve data quality and coverage (particularly for Scope 3) and refine our reduction plan in line with improved measurement.

7.2 Do you face any key challenges in reducing emissions?

*

Reducing scope 3 emissions,Limited control over energy use in buildings,Reducing emissions from business travel,Electrifying the vehicle fleet and/or cutting transport emissions,Time constraints,Inaccurate or insufficient data

7.3 Has there been any third party validation of the data submitted in this report?

*

No
